EXPERIMENT 2

THE
SILENCE

echo....

....

.......silence....

Listen to Silence

FOR THE DESIGN

Are the flowing water waves and ripples on an electronic screen a form of silence?

Each movement of your mouse,
each touch of your fingertips,
is an intra-action (Barad)
between physical reality and the virtual universe.
And are these ripples themselves silent?

Perhaps they carry a faint sound
(did you notice?)
the clicking of the keyboard,
the movement of the mouse.
Do they shape your thoughts?

Or perhaps these ripples are silent.

Within this silence,
might something else begin to surface—
emerging from the quiet itself?
